I’m Sydney Yien, a vocal coach excited about bringing you to a higher level of vocal development. I'm passionate about helping you grow into your voice and instilling the creative confidence necessary to sing in front of the crowds. Whether you are doing your session online or in-person, we will work together to achieve your goals. I coach singers on expanding their dynamics, perfect harmonization, cultivating healthy vocal habits, and maximizing their voice's flexibility and endurance.

Do you have stage fright? We can work on that! I will provide staging techniques, tips and tricks that will boost your confidence in your performance abilities! With over a decade of on-stage experience in a variety of live bands as well as leading worship in small to large churches, I provide a unique insight on various platforms.

FOR THE ARTIST:

I teach songwriting for students who have the artistic urge to create original material. I equip you with multiple writing styles in one-on-one writing sessions and provide the tools and direction needed to make your creation come to life.

 

In addition to songwriting, I can teach you how to record on a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), specially Logic Pro X. We will create your very own music, from the melody in your head to a record you can listen back to! If you are interested in placing your music on Spotify, Apple Music, or any other streaming platform, I'm here to guide you through the process. Its so much fun!

MAKING THE BAND:

Playing an instrument is an important part of growing as a budding singer. I teach music theory and piano to help you understand music as a whole on deeper level. Maybe you will have your own band and own the stage one day! Learning how to communicate what you are envisioning to your bandmates will play a big part in your success of putting on a great show!
